Bouncing Ball project

 I started the bouncing ball project and got to the squish and squash before I stopped.  The readings were helpful here in getting this done.  The main readings helped guide me through the process.  I had a little bit of trouble getting the ball to bounce realistically with the graph view but was able to figure it out with the readings.  I also watched some videos about Maya.  Some of the videos like "The Art of NURBS Modeling: Volume 1" were a little confusing though but they were still interesting and a little helpful to watch.

Midterm Responses

 I looked at some of our classes midterms and they were all well done.  First I'm going to talk about Tyler Getz's midterm project.  He made a scene that looked like a lake with lily pads.  I really like how the water looks especially under the lighting.  If there was one thing I would change about the lighting I would make it cover the entire lake or just use a camera to only show the part that's lighted up.  Otherwise though I think the lighting looks really good and brings out the colors in the scene.  I also really like the choice of colors as they are very easy on the eyes and are just nice to look at.  I like the concept of a scene were a frog jumps on the lily pads and if it gets animated I'm excited to see it.   I also saw Stephannie Sipaque's midterm project.  It was of a dinner table and I liked how it looked.  The textures were really good as it made the table, chairs, and fruits look more realistic.  I also rea...
