Week 6

 I worked on the fruit bowl tutorial and was able to model a bowl and then I created some fruits out of simple shapes.  I made them look more like fruits by giving them some color.  I also gave the bowl some color.  I also made a little table which I gave color.  I added some spotlights to give the bowl some lighting and rendered the frame.  I also watched Cheese, Bingo, and Ormie.  Bingo was very creepy.  It seemed to be a story of a person being driven insane or into Bingo the Clown.  The lighting definitely helped show that this was a darker story as the lighting was very eerie and well dark.  Cheese was much more of a comical animation that followed a mouse trying to get cheese.  They also had to avoid a cat which reminded me of "Tom and Jerry" especially since it ended with the mouse outsmarting the cat with a goofy scene.  The lighting was a lot brighter showing that this was meant to be light hearted.  The music also helped contribute to the atmosphere as the mouse would dance to the music.  Ormie was also light hearted as it featured a pig trying to get cookies that were above a fridge.  The pig couldn't reach the cookies so he tried many comical and cartoony ways to get the cookies.  The lighting like in cheese was bright to show this was light hearted.  The music was happy go lucky and the textures were very cartoony.  This reinforces that this is meant to be taken as a silly cartoon.
